BCA Research Appoints Shannon Lal as Chief Technology Officer

MONTREAL – February 24, 2025 – BCA Research, the world’s leading independent macro investment research firm, today announced that Shannon Lal has joined the firm as Chief Technology Officer.

Based in Montreal, Shannon is an experienced technology executive who combines leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies and hands-on work at high-growth startups.  He specializes in leading engineering teams to implement AI solutions.  A frequent public speaker on how to scale new technologies, Shannon is passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams.  Shannon was most recently Vice President for Technology and Engineering at Designstripe, the AI-driven advertising generator.  He has also held senior Engineering roles at the Royal Bank of Canada and InVue, the global technology company.
