Yushu is Associate Editor for our Geopolitical Strategy and US Political Strategy services, working closely with Chief Geopolitical Strategist Matt Gertken to cover global policy developments that are relevant to financial markets.

Yushu joined BCA in 2018 as a Geopolitical Strategy Intern. Since then, he has become an industry-recognized expert in political economy and international relations, speaking on behalf of the firm at multiple major investment events around the world.

Before joining BCA, Yushu served as a research fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto, where he analyzed the correlation between the spread of democracy and globalization.

He holds a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of International Economics from the University of British Columbia.
