Roukaya leads our Commodity & Energy Strategy service, where she incorporates BCA’s renowned top-down global macro framework with bottom-up fundamental analysis of major commodities to deliver thought-provoking research and actionable investment recommendations.
Roukaya previously led BCA’s Daily Insights team and served as a Strategist for our Geopolitical Strategy service. She joined BCA Research in 2015 as a researcher for our Commodity & Energy Strategy.
Before joining BCA Research, Roukaya worked as an economic analyst at the Central Bank of Egypt and held teaching and research roles at academic institutions in Canada and the UK. She is a frequent guest in global news media.
Roukaya holds an MA in Economics from McGill University.
